the last picture

I've been sewing the last of the images onto the wrap-around-skirt, but it still feels very unfinished. I'm planning on sewing the edges of the grey panels down, so they sit flatter, but I started thinking about quilting the whole thing. To pull the surface together.

Unsure whether to centre the circle/oval around each picture on the skirt or in the spaces inbetween.

I will cut and sew the lining, from some habatoi silk I got from beckford silk- http://www.beckfordsilk.co.uk/. Although I've been practising keeping the back of my sewing as neat as possible, I think this time I'll put the lining in after I do the quilting.
