sewing sewing sewing til my head hurts

The way I chose to support the work, on a wider piece of muslin pinned to a frame. Has meant I've had some problems with the difference in tension between the muslin and the sewing surface.

If I'd managed to sew the two layers of fabric together securely first I may have avoided the problem, but I ended up snipping the muslin which has worked fine.
